Every charm is a talisman with a history of its own.

Lychgate is a collection of traditional amulets, each one hand cast in pewter, given a vintage oxide patina, tumbled, hand polished and lacquered, then hung on an adjustable leather cord. Every piece carries its own folklore - protection, faith, fortune, the old magic - and every one is, at heart, a ward against harm. Choose the story that calls to you.

Founded in 1977, Alchemy has cast fine English pewter for almost fifty years. Lychgate is its maker's own workshop project - traditional amulets made slowly, in the old manner, in rural Shropshire.
