How to return something to us

Returns Policy: All Alchemy England Products

Items purchased from an independent retailer’s shop or webstore must be returned to that same business under their own conditions for credit or a refund, (usually this will mean, if the item has not been used and is returned in new and perfect condition, including its original packaging, within 14 days of purchase and accompanied by the receipt).

For items purchased from Alchemy of England directly, please report damaged or incorrectly shipped items to our offices within 15 days of receipt.  

To return an item, simply sign in to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. You will then be able to select the item(s) you need to return and submit a return request. 

If your return is for damaged merchandise you can select to receive a replacement item, exchange, or credit to your account. If your return is for undamaged items, you will be given a credit on your account to apply to future orders*

We will ensure to cover any shipping costs incurred if the return is as a result of our error. 

Returned items will remain the responsibility of the sender until recorded as being safely received by Alchemy of England.

You will be notified via e-mail of your replacement, refund, or credit, once we've received and processed the returned item(s).  If an item is reported as damaged you may be asked to use our Expedited Photo Return system.  We will send instructions on how to do this once your return request is received.   

If your return is required to be sent back to our warehouse (Non-Expedited Photo Returns), you should expect to receive a replacement order within 14 days. If your return requires a refund, please allow up to 21 days. In many cases these estimates will be much quicker. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (2 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (2 to 3 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request or for your replacement to be received (2 to 10 business days).

*Please note returns of undamaged or correctly shipped items, may incur a 15 – 25% restocking fee depending on the product.
